Application example
Stopping part mix-ups in piston assembly
Three circlips sit inside a piston, each with an engraved identity mark. Only the specified circlips may be assembled.
- A smart camera reads the mark on each circlip in turn at the press of a button
- Readings go to an industrial PC over the plant network
- The PC compares each value with master data to confirm correct loading
- Results are kept for assembly traceability
